FAQs
I offer a blend of therapeutic approaches designed to support the whole person. These include EMDR Therapy, holistic talk therapy, soundbed therapy, somatics, eco-therapy, and dog-assisted support. I also provide online coaching for women navigating grief, burnout, and big life transitions. Each approach is trauma-informed and tailored to your unique needs.
Therapy often focuses on healing past wounds and supporting mental health through clinically licensed care. Coaching is more future-focused. It is designed to help you move forward with clarity, rebuild your foundation, and grow into the next version of yourself. My coaching work is online, deeply grounded in trauma-informed care, and ideal for women who have experienced real-life challenges and are ready for practical, soulful support. It can be especially helpful when traditional therapy has not felt like quite the right fit.
Not at all. Dog-assisted therapy is just one of the tools I offer, and it is completely optional. Many clients benefit from EMDR, sound therapy, or holistic sessions without any involvement from animals. The work is always tailored to you.
In dog-assisted therapy, a trained dog may be present during sessions to offer comfort, regulation, and emotional support. Dogs can help ground you during anxiety, flashbacks, or dissociation, and they offer calming, nonverbal connection. For some clients, working with a dog brings structure, connection, and emotional relief, especially when traditional therapy has felt too cognitive or detached. I can also help train your dog if that is needed (depending on age and breed)
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It uses gentle bilateral stimulation, like eye movements or tapping, while you recall emotionally charged memories in a safe and supported setting. This helps your brain reprocess those experiences so they no longer carry the same emotional or physical charge. Many people find relief even when other therapies have not helped. Whether EMDR is a good fit for you is something we can explore together, based on your unique needs and goals.
The first session is centered around you. There is no checklist or pressure to perform. You lead the pace, and I meet you with compassion, tools, and presence. We take time to get to know each other and begin building a relationship that feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in trust. Whether we start with breathwork, nervous system support, or simple conversation, the work will always honor your energy, emotions, and intuition.
Rates vary depending on the type of service and package you choose. We offer flexible options to make care more accessible. If you are curious about what might be the best fit for your needs and budget, feel free to reach out. I am happy to talk through the options with you.
That is completely valid. Many people come to this work after feeling disappointed or stuck in traditional therapy. Healing is not one-size-fits-all, and it makes sense if something hasn’t worked for you in the past. My approach is relational, intuitive, and trauma-informed. Let’s hop on a call to see if this feels different. No pressure, just a conversation to help you decide if this is the right path for you.
